Marathon Key Fishing Charter

At Ana Banana Fishing Company we are on the water 300 days per year.  We have a fleet of boats to fit almost everyone’s needs.  Here in the Florida Keys we wake up every morning mad at the fish.

We start our morning studying tide charts, looking at radar weather, wind predictions wave height and direction ,water temperature and water clarity, feeding times, Gulf Steam distance, moon phase and past years log book comparisons.

We start each morning trying to maximize our clients best chances to catch fish with great quality and quantity for whatever species they want to target.  By gathering our daily data and knowledge of past history we are able to recommend fishing in the Gulf of Mexico and/or Atlantic Ocean, bridge, reef, wreck, ledge, humps, offshore, inshore or deep sea fishing and what boat in our fleet is the best boat for your mission.

Other than your safety and making sure everyone on board is healthy and happy our main goal is to make sure your rods stay bent and your drags scream!

We charter avid anglers as well as fishing novices and everyone in between. During your initial contact with us, we will typically ask you a series of questions such as:

*How many people?
*How many hours?
*Which boat?
*What’s your experience?
*What do you want to target?
*What is your budget?

Another one of our goals is to keep our clients dry and not beat up in the weather.  We try to give our clients a comfortable experience, no fish is worth getting beat up over.

We believe in over communication.  We always try to text or call our clients at least a night before the charter day is scheduled to make sure we are all on the same page.

Most of our charters also include a first mate who is at your disposal.  The first mate is on board to assure your safety, bait your hooks, net or gaff your fish, serve your needs, clean your fish etc. Our first mates work exclusively for tips. It’s customary to tip the first mate like a bar tender or restaurant server with 15% to 25% of the charter fee depending on how you liked the service.

Ana Banana was established in 1999.  We have maintained a 5 star review average for over 20 years and have always had a NO FISH, NO PAY policy.
